This is a list of tools especially created for the Ocean system.

All tools are provided in the Tools directory.

Here follows a short description of what you find there:

Cod
Cod is a detection tool. You can use it to find the paths to commands, libraries and header files. If possible it even tries to detect the version.
Controller
Controller is an tool that helps you start and stop applications, and to clean up everything when you want to remove stuff from your system.
Due to its destructive nature the DEBUG variable is set to echo. To make controller functional remove the echo. An example config file is available in the form of GWorkspace.db (every installed piece of software should create such a file in Library/InstalleDB of the installed domain, and create a symlink to controller).
Coral
Coral is the build system to create Ocean from source. But it can also be used to build single packages.
Hermit
Hermit is a simple binary installer.
